Our Strategic Objectives

HOLISTIC EMPOWERMENT

We are creating and implementing comprehensive programs emphasizing awareness building, educational advocacy, and comprehensive support structures to enable girls to achieve their full potential. Our SHE Plays event, School Project, Fit for Challenge, and other initiatives are aimed at increasing our social impact, and drive a holistic agenda for girl-child development in Nigeria. Our programs have shown a 14-percentage point increase in participants believing in equal treatment for boys and girls.

FOOTBALL OPPORTUNITIES

We have provided football-related opportunities to foster self-expression and personal development. This includes developing a world-class football programme for girls aged 10-18, with a structured curriculum, experienced coaches, and regular competitive matches, strengthening our reputation as a premier "girls football academy in Nigeria. A testament to our success here is Janet Akekoromowei, who was selected to represent Nigeria at U-17 and U-20 levels, from the Academy. She has gone on to sign for 2024 Women’s Federation Cup runners-up, Nassarawa Amazons, and is now at 2025 NWFL winners, Bayelsa Queens

CAPACITY BUILDING WITH TARGETED SKILLS

Equip girls with vocational and academic proficiency, instilling self-assurance for success across various life domains. This involves specialized training in areas like STEM, financial literacy, communication skills, and critical thinking. The Asisat Oshoala Academy aims to integrate vocational training in leadership, communication, and entrepreneurship into its curriculum and partner with vocational institutions for specialized courses. A testament to this is the 5 academy players (and 20+ others) who received vocational scholarships and are now professionals.
