Lanre Vigo is a dynamic Nigerian sports executive whose journey from aspiring footballer to influential agent and club owner epitomizes vision, grit, and heart. After early setbacks in his playing career, he pivoted to management, co-founding Plug Sports in 2020 alongside Asa Asika and Bizzle Osikoya. Lanre has built a powerhouse representing world-class athletes like Henry Onyekuru, Tobi Amusan, Asisat Oshoala amongst others.  He has also negotiated arguably the biggest endorsement deals in Nigeria, solidifying his reputation as a master strategist in athlete representation.

In 2023, Lanre co-founded Inter Lagos FC—a bold move to rejuvenate Nigeria’s domestic football scene, and one that’s already making waves in the Nigerian National League. In less than a year, the club made history by winning the Lagos FA Cup in 2025, signaling its rapid rise and growing influence in the Nigerian National League.

Most recently, in 2025, he was appointed Director of the Asisat Oshoala Academy—an institution backed by Nike and committed to empowering young girls through football. With this role, Lanre is cementing his dedication to talent development and shaping the future of female football in Africa.
